While staying in London or Kent, take a day trip using the Euro Star to visit France, Belgium and Germany. You can now connect to the Euro Star rail system from many parts of Britain. For a day trip to Europe you need to be in the south to make it practical but for a short break you can take the train to Lille or Avignon and spend a night or two in the depths of France.
However, having come all the way to London or Kent for your holiday, why not take a day out in Europe to visit Euro Disney in Paris? It is now a very easy and enjoyable journey to make and can be easily done in a day, without having the extra cost of having to book a place to stay overnight in Paris. See the English and French countryside from the comfort of your high speed train as you speed towards Europe and Paris, Calais or Brussels.
You can get right to the gates of Euro Disney from the new high speed rail terminal at St. Pancras International or from Ashford International in Kent direct to Disneys own Train station, minutes from the park gates.. The journey time to Euro Disney is under 2 ½ hours from St. Pancras and under2 hours from Ashford. So you and the family can spend a whole day there and be easily back in your hotel in London or Ashford on the same day. There really is something for everyone at Euro Disney Paris from a family fun dinner whilst watching Buffalo Bills Wild West Show to high speed roller coasters and loads more.
Fares are priced like the low cost airlines and if you purchase well in advance of your date of travel, you can pay up to a quarter of the fare you would pay on the day. Fares are graded into several categories with rates to match. The further out you book, the cheaper the fares. Of course you may want to travel in the luxury class but if your budget is a bit tight, then given that the journey time is under 3 hours, why pay the additional premium for luxury travel.
With a train leaving at 8.52 a.m. and returning at 7.37 p.m. it makes a great day out for the family and with cheap offers to the Euro Disneyland Resort or to Paris or Brussels, it neednt put a large dent in your holiday budget.
If Euro Disney isn’t your cup of tea, take the train to Paris or Brussels for the day and make an excursion into Europe while you are here. All these are now easily achievable in a day and any of them will be a trip to remember.
